In loving hands
I’m Cheryl, a mum to my two amazing daughters Ruby & Emma, who are my No.1 clients. I enjoy reading, travelling & socialising with my family and friends. I am a Reflexologist, Massage & Complementary Therapist based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
Having spent the majority of my adult life in
the oil and gas industry within HR, I was made redundant in 2016. I had always loved Reflexology and had a keen interest in it, having visited a local Reflexologist myself for years to help with my chronic migraines.
I always loved having my feet massaged and how relaxed I felt after a Reflexology session as well as the numerous health benefits. After developing an interest in the additional benefits of Reflexology, I realised there was so much more to Reflexology than just a foot massage, and was eager to find out more…
It was in 2016 that I decided to retrain with a view to embarking on Reflexology as a completely new career, or at the very least…. learn a fantastic skill that I could offer to my friends & family.
I applied and was accepted as a student by the Aberdeenshire Holistic & Beauty Academy, 8 months and 36 case studies later I graduated in 2017 as a fully trained reflexologist.
Following that, I gained a diploma in Full Body Massage, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candling with the Aberdeenshire Holistic & Beauty Academy. I continued with my CPD by training in Reiki Level I with Josie Heslop, Reiki Master of Red Kite Reiki in Aboyne. Facial Reflexology with Degree Qualified Jacq Munro, Complementary Therapist & Trainer. I also trained as an Instructor in the Children’s Reflexology Programme with Susan Quayle (the creator and owner of the programme) and Andrea Clarke of Feet First Therapies & Training School.
Academically, I have a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology & a Diploma in Health Care Studies.
As a Holistic Therapist, I am a full member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists, and I am fully insured. I work from home in Westhill as well as offering mobile & corporate bookings.
I am so passionate about what I do and I feel so unbelievably lucky to do a job which I truly love. My clients are the heart of my business and I always strive to provide the best treatment/s and service to them in a relaxed & calming atmosphere.
